About	Caroline "Carol" Walker (nee Slay), 64, of Beach Park, IL died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. Carol was born December 31, 1950 in Cardwell, MO. She moved to IL where she attended Zion Benton Township High School. On May 1, 1967 Carol married Joseph A. Walker Jr. She retired from Abbott Laboratories and was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Walker Jr.; children, Joseph A. Walker III of Beach Park, IL, Kathy L. (Joel) Uhlean of Winthrop Harbor, IL, and Deana A. (Billy) Learsch of Winthrop Harbor, IL; grandchildren, Brittany Walker, Scott Walker, Billy Learsch Jr., and Makayla Learsch; mother, Dulcie Patterson of Beach Park, IL; step-mother, Barbara Slay of WI; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Slay; maternal and paternal grandparents; and brother, Jimmy Slay
