Judy D. Sartin, aged 64 love filled years, passed away in her home on Sunday, October 15th, 2016 after battling cancer with the most grace and dignity one could have. Judy was born July 22nd, 1952 in Knoxville, TN moving to the Lake County, IL area early in her childhood attending Zion Schools throughout her educational career. She graduated from Zion Benton Township High School in 1971. She met the love of her life, Marvin G. Sartin Jr and married August 31st, 1973. They spent the rest of their lives together until he preceded her in death on July 27th, 2007. Judy worked at Walmart in Kenosha for 13 years until she retired in 2015 having made many friends with coworkers and leaving a lasting impression on all those who were fortunate enough to have crossed her path. Judy lived for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children but she adored her grandchildren most of all. Judy will be remembered by all who got to know her. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Mize and daughters, Stephanie (James) Hughes, Jessica (Rob) Schumann, Ashley (Scott) Paugel. Grandchildren: William Sooley III, Richard McGillivray Jr., Camron McGillivray, Harmony Blanton, Adelise Paugel, Robert-Lee Hughes, and Emily Paugel. She was preceded in death by her doting husband, Marvin Sartin Jr, her father, George Mize, 2 sisters Patricia Behrens and Karen Heitzenrater, and a brother, Johnny Mize.
