Patricia Day Biastock, 63, of Beach Park, IL, was received into the arms of Jesus on November 9, 2017.
She was born on September 17, 1954 in Waukegan, IL and was a life-long resident of the Beach Park area. Patricia graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School with the class of 1972. Following graduation she worked for the Zion-Benton Public Library, then the Zion State Bank, and retired from North Point Marina in 2016. She was a life-long faithful member of Grace Missionary Church in Zion where she ministered in a variety of capacities. Patricia was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her cats.
She is survived by her father and mother, Bob and Joan Biastock of Mountain Home, AR; sister, Kathe (Jim) Galvin of Elgin, IL; nephew James C. (Kimberly) Galvin III of Wheaton, IL; niece, Lindsay (Ryan) Taylor of Carol Stream, IL; loving aunt Shirley Odom of Zion; and a future grand-niece to be; and various cousins and extended family. Patricia was blessed to have a host of loving friends and caregivers who supported her when her immediate family could not be by her side. With their help she was able to maintain her lifestyle throughout her prolonged illness
