Sam had a genuine personality with a caring heart which showed in her love for nursing and volunteering at the humane society. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and reading. Sam is survived by her best friend and partner, Shane Jackson of Kenosha; father William Stockton of Kenosha; mother Diane McDermott (fiancé Jeffery Elst) of Kenosha; two brothers Ryan Matthew Stockton of Kenosha, and Joshua Raymond Stockton of Champaign-Urbana; grandmother Jean Stockton of Hendersonville, TN; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents William Stockton, and Eugene and Dorothy Raymond.
