In Memory of

Mark Walldan, 44, of Zion, died on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, after a courageous battle with an illness. Mark was born December 31,1963, in Kenosha, WI, to Willis and Betty Walldan. He grew up in Winthrop Harbor and attended schools there. Mark graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1982. He was a general contractor under the name of "Walldan Builders". Mark was an avid fisherman and golfer. He enjoyed spring fishing at Fremont, WI, with his friends and belonged to a golf league at Orchard Hills Country Club. Mark enjoyed campfires in his backyard pit and grill cooking on his deck while feeding pet squirrels. He leaves to cherish his memory, his father and mother, Willis and Betty Walldan of Beach Park, Il; daughter, Baylie Walldan; his loving and caring companion, Mary E. Wolf (who he was sharing his life with) and her daughter, Heather R. Wolf; two brothers, Steve Walldan and Scott (Joan) Walldan; two nieces, Tiffany and Maddison Walldan; aunt, Nadine (Don) Puder; and cousins Craig (Rose) Puder and Kevin (Sue) Puder; former wife, Mary Walldan; and many special friends and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clint and Alice Walldan and Al and Doris Paschke
