Ruthann Davis, 80, of McHenry, Illinois passed away on March 25, 2026.

Ruthann was born January 5, 1946 in Zion, IL, where she grew up and graduated from Zion Benton Township High School. Ruthann married her High School sweetheart, Robert "Bob" Davis, during her senior year and started a family a year after marriage in Beach Park, Illinois. She and Bob took their family on many great camping adventures throughout 48 states. She instilled adventure in her kids and grandkids. Ruthann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was dedicated to her family, and she loved life, nature and finding joy and entertainment in the most mundane of things. She filled the lives she touched with love, adventure, happiness, and great memories. She was loved by all that knew her!

Ruthann is survived by her son, Robert (Bobby) Leslie (wife Lori Lynn) Davis Jr.; grandchildren, Tyler Werner, Vivian Davis, and Miles Davis; brother, David Hollingshead (wife Diane); and many nieces and nephews from the Hinkle, Hollingshead and Springer family.

Ruthann was preceded in death by her loving parents, Clarence (Tug) and Zelda Hollingshead; husband, Robert Leslie Davis Sr; and son, Daniel (Danny) Davis.
