Gloria A. Winland, 85, of Zanesville, died at 2:20 P.M. on Monday, December 5, 2016 at The Oaks at Bethesda. She was born May 30, 1931 to the late John and Edna Davis Mount. She was a homemaker and member of Coburn United Methodist Church. Gloria enjoyed going to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sporting events and their activities.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald E. Winland, whom she married June 18, 1949; a daughter, Gayle (Bob) Howard of Zanesville; a son, Rick (Bonnie) Winland of Zanesville; four grandchildren, R.D. (Stephanie) Winland of Zanesville, Chad (Ann) Howard of Zanesville, Wendy Winland of Zanesville, and Heather (Josh) Burch of North Carolina; nine great-granchildren, Cameron James, Kirkland James, Savannah James, Carter Winland, Ellie Winland, Luke Howard, Brody Howard, Julia Burch, and Eva Burch; two brothers, Jim (Judy) Mount of Zanesville and Bill (Cindy) Mount of Zanesville; and a sister-in-law, Carol Roll of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brother-in-laws, Kenneth Winland, Walter Winland Jr., and George Roll.
Memorial contributions may be made to Coburn United Methodist Church, 3618 Maple Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 10, 2016, with Pastor Justin Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park, Zanesville.
