ZANESVILLE - Delores M. Brock, 77, of Zanesville, passed away at 2:20 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born May 24, 1930, in Zanesville. She was a member of Word of Life Ministries.
Surviving are a daughter, Teresa (Brad) Swope of Zanesville; a brother, Richard Sowers of Columbus; a sister, Velma Jean Bunker of Zanesville; and a step-granddaughter, Kelly Stickrath.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Brock, whom she married Jan. 1, 1955, and who passed away Dec. 2, 2005; and her parents, Richard and Lula Joseph Sowers.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, 56 S. Fifth Street.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Word of Life Ministries, 713 Dryden Road, with Pastor John Sensabaugh officiating. Burial will take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sonora.
