Mildred Louise Grimsley, 83, of 1288 East Drive, died at 4:35 am Tuesday, January 14, 2003, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House after an extended illness.
Mrs. Grimsley was born on April 30, 1919, in Zanesville to the late Grover C. Bell and Hattie M Flowers Bell. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and the Senior Women's League of Bethesda Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Richard V. Atkinson of San Francisco, twin daughters Sandra Kay and Darrell Miracle of Zanesville and their children, Natalie, Bryce and Kahlee; and Barbara Ann and Derrik Ewing of Dallas, Texas and their children, Allison, Lauren and Audrey. Also surviving are a brother, Russell Bell of Zanesville and a niece Jeanne Edwards of Newark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, G. Reed Grimsley, two brothers, Harry and Ralph Bell and three sisters, Virginia Bain, Frances Passwater and Helen Adams.
Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
