David Lee Stemm, 62, of Zanesville, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the home of his son. David was born in Zanesville May 8, 1949 to the late Frank and Delores Jackson Stemm. He served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed playing games, fishing and was a full time Grandpa.
David is survived by his son, David (Dustie) Stemm, Jr, of New Lexington; sisters: Nancy Jenkins and Linda Stemm; four grandchildren: David III, Jordan, Joshua and Mileena; and and his best friends, Bill (Ruth) Brown of Crooksville and Marcie Devoll of Zanesville; nieces and nephews: James "Tater" Johnson and Sherry Harmon.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Stemm; and nephew, Richard "Chopper" Johnson.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery with full military rites by the VFW Post #1058.
