Dorothy E. Shafer, wife, mother and grandmother passed away on April 14, 2024, in Westminster, Colorado. She was born November 1935 in Zanesville Ohio. Her parents were the late Allen and Mildred Elmore.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Shafer and his son, Joshua Shafer.

Close to Dorothy’s heart were the babies in the family that preceded her in death, she always remembered them. Dorothy also was preceded in death by her sister’s, Adabelle and Gertrude.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Fred D. Shafer, just shy of 70 years of marriage.

Dorothy is also survived by her children: Fred A. Shafer, Greg Shafer (Cheryl), Cindy Frappier (Maurice), Christy Buckley (Srikanth), Bill Shafer, Daughter-in-law Virginia Shafer; 16 grandchildren and 40 plus Great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
