Mrs. Betty Jane Mahaffey, 33, of Washington, PA, the ZHS class of 1959 Homecoming Queen, died Tuesday morning in Bethesda Hospital. She was admitted there Monday.
Born April 29, 1941, in Zanesville, Mrs. Mahaffey was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Barker of 210 Willow Lake Drive. She had lived in Washington, PA the past four months and was a member of United Methodist Church there.
Surviving are her husband, Roger Allan Mahaffey of the home; three daughters, Molly, Mikele and Monica Mahaffey, all of the home; and a sister, Mrs. James (Patricia) Burkhart of Zanesville.
Burial will be in Memorial Park.
