Larry George, 81, of Zanesville, died at 7:03 P.M. on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Genesis Hospital. He was born May 5, 1941 in Zanesville, son of the late Richard and Edna (Bennett) George. Larry loved to spend his time reading and playing bridge.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ada A. (Carrender) George, whom he married December 18, 1993; three daughters Carol (Darryl) Steele, Cindy (Eric) Brandt, Andrea (Clay) Anderson; one step-daughter, Lisa Meadows; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one step-granddaughter; two sisters Karen (Richard) Fulkerson and Shirley Herr.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Steve George.
Friends and family may call from 12:00 Noon until Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 30, 2023, with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating
