Born September 6, 1904 in Perry County, Ohio to Printz and Fannie (Burton) Bodner. Her father passed one month after her birth. She married Chester L. Decker andwere listed as living in Columbus, Ohio in the 1949 Census where the had twin sons Eugene and Kenneth. Chester died in Santa Barbara, California in 1981 and Ruth passed in 1984 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
