Carl Maneely was born October 15, 1895 in Zanesville, Ohio to Harry and Caroline Maneely. He graduated with the Zanesville High School Class of 1914 and went on to become a metallurgist in a steel mill. He married Mary Ann Lloyd and had two children, Carol and Carl Jr. Carl Maneely died in April of 1968 in Coraopolis, PA
