Air Force, 20+ Years
Stationed in Texas,Holland, North Dakota, Mississippi, Illinos, Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia (gulf war 1), and Texas again.

Entered the AF in June of '78.
Off to Lackland AFB for basic training. Then to Lackland and Camp Bullis for security police training.
My first base was Camp New Amsterdam the Netherlands. Spent 5 years there. Worked as a security policeman and also trained as a sniper on a TNT team.(got married while there also).
Then off to Grand Forks ND to work as a Assistant flight chief for a security police flight, and also as an airborn fireteam leader. Way KEWL!! Only spen a year here.....
From there I was off to Keesler AFB Mississippi to retrain as a computer programmer. Trained in Cobal and Fortran programming.
'85 I moved to Scott AFB as a programmer. Spent almost 8 years here.....
Got a "BY NAME" request to move to S. Korea to work for the OSI (Office of special Investgations) as a System Adminstrator. And to do groundbreaking work in computer forensics. KEWL JOB!!. From there I moved to Japan for 3 years to continue the same kind of work.
'06, I moved to Kelly AFB Tx to work for a security service that must remain unnamed as a network administrator. Was My last job before retiring in Jun of 98.
I can say I played in the "BIG SANDBOX" during the first Gulf War, but no more.
Was a great 20 years, and would do it all over if givin the opertunity.

Our Yucaipa High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Yucaipa High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Yucaipa are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
