Marci Lee (Manns) Farnsworth, 40, of Medina OH, died on November 22, 2010. Her death was the result of a motorcycle accident which took place on May 26, 2010 in Wadsworth OH.

She was born June 24, 1970 in McKeesport, PA, to Marlene A. Barker Manns and Lawrence G. Manns. She attended Yough Schools in PA and later graduated from Medina High School in 1988.

Marci was an LPN (Parma School of Nursing) and was close to completing her RN (Lorraine Community College) degree. Marci will be especially remembered for her carefree attitude towards life, and for being an awesome mother, nurse, and friend. Everyone agrees that Marci made this world a better place.

Her survivors include her father, Lawrence G. Manns; children, Jocelyn Farnsworth of Kent and Mason Farnsworth, of Medina; Sisters Shari Ring of Middleburg Heights, Debbie Collins of Latrobe, PA, and Nicole Derry of Akron; Brothers Dwayne Ring of Washington, PA, and Peter Manns of Westfield Center. Marci was preceded in death by her Mother, Marlene A. Manns.

Relatives and friends will be received at Waite and Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court Street, Medina, OH from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday November 29. A private service will be held on Tuesday and Marci will be laid to rest at Rose Hill cemetery in Akron, OH.

The family would like to thank all the compassionate and caring doctors and nurses from Willowood and Emeritus at Medina- Hospice. The family would also like to thank all the people who supported Marci and her children through participation and donations to the various benefits that were held. And a very special heartfelt thank you to Marci’s best friend Mary Jackson for being an unwavering advocate for Marci and her children.
