About	James Paul Stokes, 17, of West Newton, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born June 21, 1986, in McKeesport, the beloved son of James M. and Mary Miereczko Stokes, of West Newton. He was a senior at Yough High School and was employed by Bob Evans Restaurant in New Stanton and Motordrome Speedway in Smithton. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a loving sister, Samantha Stokes; paternal grandparents, James Stokes and Alice (Coleman) Istvanik, both of Elizabeth; his great-grandmother, Leta (Bowen) Stokes, of Glassport; two aunts, Barbara Hitcho and husband, Richard, of Monongahela, and Paula Pagnotta and husband, Frank, of McKeesport; two uncles, Paul Miereczko, of Glassport, and Robert Stokes and wife, Brenda, of Florida; also many great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Angelina (D'Amario) Miereczko. Friends will be received in the J. WILLIAM McCAULEY JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., West Newton, Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. John A.
