| About Me | I am the daughter of Bertha and William Brown, the youngest of seven children. I am the wife of Mike Christman. the mother of three children, the grandmother of nine. I am very proud of all of them. I taught in the Indianapolis Public Schools which could be quiet challenging, but rewarding at the same time. Seeing the light turn on in just one student's thinking is what I had to hold on to which kept me going, knowing and hoping I had done something right. I love to sing, almost all kinds of music, especially gospel. I was healed in 1985 at a tent meeting and felt God's power. That's when I knew God was really real and not just because Mom and Dad taught me. I remember going home and looking up at the stars and moon and saying thank you God, you really are real! Because of that night, I wrote the song, "Have you ever felt the power of God? and had it copyrighted in 1985. I have written others, but don't have them copyrighted yet. I'm still waiting on God to help me finish one of my songs, and keep more coming. I love to bowl, go on car and boat rides with my husband, swim, and camp, I also enjoy nice motels and hotels too (as long as they are clean). I just saw the Smokies this past summer with my oldest son and his family. I would love see Virginia Beach again. I love seeing new places, too. I love visiting with my children and grandchildren. I would like for us all, someday, to take a vacation together here on this earth.
