About	Kathryn R. Abels, 54, of Omaha died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, in Omaha. She was born on Aug. 7, 1947, in Sidney. Survivors include her husband, Chuck Abels of Omaha; mother, Ruth Wilson of York; daughter, Stacy (Dallas) Williams of Lincoln; son, Jon (Meesha) Vollertsen of Lincoln; sister, Lois (Gerald) Pesek of Omaha; stepsister, Rita (Pete) Friesen of Hampton; mother-in-law, Mildred Abels of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Davison; stepfather, Bud Wilson; and stepbrother, Gary Wilson. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 25, from 2 to 8 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Omaha. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m., at St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Omaha. Graveside services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in York.
