Kent Steven Livingston, the son of Roger and Gwen Livingston, was born January 18, 1950 in York, Nebraska. He was the oldest of 3 children and had two sisters. Kent attended York High School and entered the U.S. Marines his senior year. He later received his GED through the Marines. Kent Served from 1968 through 1972 and retired as a Pvt E1. While in the service he was deployed to Vietnam from 1968 and returned home in 1971. His duty as a marine was a Mortar Man. Kent earned several medals while in the Marines including: National Defense Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Rifle – Sharpshooter Badge.
