About Me	Aloha! I live in Laytonsville, Maryland with my wonderful husband, Dave and two cats, Simba and Peri. I have 2 great stepchildren: Jodi and Kenny. I have a beautiful granddaughter, Brittni, who makes us very proud grandparents. Two brothers and SILs, several nieces and nephews. I'm retired now after a wonderful career working for the Feds in FDA for 35+ years. I LOVE retirement! I now spend more time with Dave and the "Boys," creating and working on quilts and other crafts as well as other things in life that inspire me. I've started to dabble in some light gardening...but boy is it a science...at least for me! I spend a lot of time playing computer games, especially those that challenge my mind. I really enjoy quilting and reading. I quilt for fun; for the feeling I get when creating something that inspires me or the person for whom I'm making the quilt. I enjoy trying new techniques at least once, but really like techniques that save time so I can get on to the next project!
