Air Force, 20+ Years
Lived in Winooski from 1976 - 1981. Graduated WHS in 1978. Went to basic training with BFF Nancy Thompson on May 21, 1981 at Lackland AFB San Antonio, TX. Tech school was at Sheppard AFB Dallas/Ft Worth area then off to Germany, Ramstein AB for 3yrs. Returned and spent several years back in San Antonio at Kelly AFB where I deployed to many places: Honduras, Panama, Eygpt, Oman, Yemen, Ft. Bragg NC, Ft. Walton Bch Fla. Complete 1yr at Kusan AB in S. Korea and then went back to Kelly AFB where I deployed to Saudia Arabia during Persian Gulf War for a yr. After returning from war, retrained into a new career field at Patrick AFB Fla then was stationed at Randolph AFB, SATX. Last assignments brought me to Arizona at Luke AFB and the 161 Air Refueling Wing at Sky Harbor Airport. Amazing Career ! What an Honor to Serve My Country !!

Served in US Air Force from 81 to 83, Vt Army Guard from 87 to 89, US Army Infantry from 89 to 97. Tours included Hawaii, Panama, Germany and Haiti. DIscharged in 97 for combat related injuries received in Haiti.

Lived in Winoosski my whole life. Graduated Winooski High School in 1982. Went to boot camp at Parris Island in 1984. Retired honorably after nearly 22 years active duty in December 2005. Seved several years of duty overseas.
