Class of 1974

Joined the service in 1974 two months after I graduated from Winfield. I deployed overseas during Desert Shield/Desert Storm for a six (6) month tour in the Middle East. I traveled all over the world from Panama, to Korea, to Pisa Italy, to Egypt, to UAE, to London, to Belgium, to Hawaii, to Paris, to Germany, to Wake Island, etc. Traveling on missions was a great experience. I received 18 ribbons and received an excellent (w/Special Coin) during our Operational Readiness Inspection for the time I worked as the Superintendent of Base Training. I loved all the careers I was in and proudly retired as a Chief Master Sergeant working as the Chief of Personnel.
