He deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 2004-2005. Inducted into the Forces Command Sgt Audi Murphy Club & Bronz Order of the Army Corp's of Engineers De Fluery Medal. Received the Army Combat Action Badge for combat actions in Iraq while assigned to the Coalition Military & training Team / Multi National Security Transitional Team - Iraq.
