Rene Bray (Fulkerson)

Rene Bray (Fulkerson)

Class of 1975

Rene Bray (Fulkerson) graduated from Wilmington in 1975 and has continued to be a great influence to many people. Rene has been working as a professional comedian for twenty two years worldwide and has done great things for children with her profession. Many days she works tirelessly with the court systems and legislation to be an advocate for children of sexual assault. She has helped create bills such as the chemical castration law to protect children from predators and to keep the re-offenders of the streets. Her latest victory was helping a organization called The Donate4kids Foundation raise money to build orphanages in Haiti. The donations go directly to the Global Orhan Project for the "Bray House" which was named after her because she is so determined, loyal, and dedicated to providing shelter for homeless children that were displaced from the earthquake. Rene has been a blessing to many families and has performed public speaking events all over the country to educate the public about cause that need attention.
