Class of 1984
Army, 20+ Years
Served as Military Policeman for 21 years. Held many posistions to include Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Operations Sergeant, First Sergeant, and Chief, Security Operations.
Assigned to Ft. Benning, GA; Carlisle Barracks, PA; Ft. Sam Houston, TX; Heidleberg, Germany, Wuerzburg, Germany.
Spent many various short term tours in Central America and Middle East.
Retired February 2005 with rank of Sergeant First Class.
Awarded Order of Marechaussee and inducted into the Order of St Michael.

* years active duty service. 3 years as "Combat Medic" Field Medical Tech with the Fleet Marine Force 2ND Marine Division. Deployed to Northern Kuwait and into Southern Iraq during "Operation Iraqi Freedom" in 2003 with 1ST Marine Group, Fleet Hospital 3.

Sergeant First Class Kirk was born on 22 December 1965 in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Houston Willowridge High School in June 1985 and attended University of Texas at San Antonio.
He entered the United States Army on 15 April 1993 and attended One Station Unit Training at Fort McClellan, Alabama where he graduated as a 31B Military Police.
SFC Kirk’s assignments include Patrolman and Traffic Accident Investigator for the 152nd Military Police Platoon, Fort Hamilton, New York. Team Leader and Traffic Accident Investigator 55th Military Police Company, Camp Page, Korea. Sergeant First Class Kirk’s awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (three oak leaf cluster), the Army Achievement Medal (three oak leaf clusters),
Good Conduct Medal (fifth award), the National Defense Service Medal (with one star), the Global War on Terrorism Support Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon (with numeral 3), and the Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (with numeral 3), The Army Superior Unit Award, the Wheeled Vehicle Drivers Badge and the Drill Sergeant Identification Badge.
Sergeant First Class Kirk’s short term goals include successfully returning from deployment with the entire unit safe and uninjured, gaining acceptance and accreditation as a CID agent Warrant Officer, Training for and competing in a triathalon.
SFC Kirk’s long term goals include earning a Masters Degree in Business and retiring in Puerto Rico.
SFC Kirk shares his life with his lovely wife, Sandra and his dog Pepper.
