About	Robert M. Snowden, 80, a fifty-year resident of West Chicago, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013. He was born July 17, 1933 in Vermont, Illinois and raised there on a farm. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He received his Master's degree from Western Illinois University. He began his teaching career in Lorain, Ohio and then went on to be a teacher and then Dean at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park. He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Karen (nee Schmidt); his children, Robyn, Melany (Dan) Duriavich, Heather (Dave) Mack, and Zachary (Lily); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Hayden, and Avery Duriavich, and Hannah, Jorie, and Amelia Mack; seven siblings; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sibling. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Williams-Woodward Funeral Home, 820 Pine Street, West Chicago. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Faith Community Church, 910 Main Street, West Chicago. Interment: Glen Oak Cemetery, West Chicago.
