Thomas Joseph Clark, 39, passed away September 12, 2011 in Houston, Texas. He was born on January 19, 1972 in Chicago, IL to loving parents Thomas and Lucia Clark. Thomas lived in Lombard until 2000 and spent his time surrounded by family and friends that love him dearly.
Thomas lived life to the fullest when he was in Lombard - cruising around Lombard in his Grand Prix or VR4; hanging with Jeff, Jim, Phil, Matt, Mike, Paul or Cliffy; going to the Pacific Club or dropping by Nana's to get spoiled.
Thomas graduated from St. Pius X School in Lombard, Willowbrook High School in Villa Park and Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. He worked in the petrochemical industry for many years and his passion for his field was reflected in his numerous achievements - patents in the field of chemistry, was certified in his field, traveled all over the world and was continually promoted to utilize his extensive knowledge and experience.
Thomas' greatest love and joy was his family. Brenda and Thomas met in 2003 and their love strengthened and grew over the eight years they were together. From early on in their relationship, Thomas knew that he wanted to spend his life with Brenda. They laughed together, traveled together, Brenda grew to appreciate Thomas's love of muscle shirts, cars, classic rock and roll, and they made a beautiful home and family with two beautiful boys and their Great Danes, Sadie and Oscar.
On October 5, 2007, Thomas and Brenda welcomed their first son, Caden Thomas Clark. On June 9, 2010, their second son, Kyle Bennett Clark, was born. Thomas was an amazing father and loved spending every minute he could with his sons. Some of his favorite times with his family were swimming, baseball, working on the house, tinkering with his corvette, playing trains with Caden and letting Kyle climb all over him. He also enjoyed running, working out regularly, and hanging with his friends, neighbors, and colleagues.
Thomas is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Thomas is survived by his loving wife Brenda, two sons Caden Thomas and Kyle Bennett, parents Thomas and Lucia, sister Lisa, sister-in-law Linda, nieces Denise, Kayla and Jade, grandfather Deacon John Gibbons, and countless cousins, aunts, uncles and loving friends.
