A memorial gathering for Philip D. Smith, 33, formerly of Lombard, will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, with a memorial service at 8 p.m. The Rev. Stephen Williams of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. He died Monday, June 9, 2003, at his home. Interment will be private. Mr. Smith was a resident of Wheaton since 1999. He was a 1988 graduate of Willowbrook High School.
