John Prusa passed away in 2026 natural causes at his home in Ocean Shores, Washington as reported by his brother Jim Prusa to Louise Settino, good friend for over 25 years. John was known as Surf City Santa back in the days he lived in Southern California in Huntingon Beach. John continured with his Willowbrook School Spirit helping to organize meetings of any Alumni in the greater Orange County and Los Angeles County areas at the Buena Park Portillo's. A great time was had by all for many years. John was a grand fellow always helping with fundraising events and what a jokester he was and a very PROUD MARINE!
Brother Jim said he would be attending a service for John by the Marine Corps at an annual gathering later this year where John's service buddies will be honoring him.

A smile and a million jokes, a gentle hug was always present. He cheered people up and he related to Bible teachings which soothed the soul. All who crossed his paths were enriched!

John was a good guy. We shared the 20th Willowbrook High School Reunion together with other graduates. Fun to be with and he shared many funny reunion pictures with captions.
