About	Patti Ann Paul, 58, passed away March 14, 2018, in Olympia, Washington, due to lung cancer. She was born October 26, 1959, to John “Jack” Beach Paul and Arlene Rae Carlile in Chicago, Illinois. She traveled between Washington and Illinois, living in Oak Park, Illinois (1959-1965), Olympia (1965-1968), Illinois (1967-1970), Villa Park, Illinois (1970-1998), and the last 20 years in Olympia (1998-2018). Patti Ann graduated in the Class of 1978 at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, and obtained a Paralegal Certificate from South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia. She married Paul Edward Trimm in April 1979 in Villa Park. They later divorced. Patti Ann had a great sense of humor and loved jokes. As a young girl, she loved to tell jokes and see people laugh; their laughter brought her pleasure. Patti Ann had an innate curiosity and enjoyed learning new things. She loved spending her time creating craft items, and making small gifts for her friends and family. She was a lover of books, flowers, and nature. She was an avid animal lover, and supported many animal rescue organizations. She had a special place in her heart for cats, and leaves behind two kitties, Edgar and Riley. Patti Ann was a member of Harvard Avenue Bible Church in Villa Park, Illinois, and Olympia First Baptist Church in Olympia, where she worked as an assistant secretary until 2017. She also was Past President and board member of The Friends of the Olympia Library, and past captain of her league bowling team with the Olympia First Baptist Church.
