Marine Corps, 1 Years
I reported to Marine Corp Boot Camp in September 1961. Following Boot Camp and Infantry Training Regiment in California, I was accepted as a Marine Aviation Cadet and sent to Pendacola, Florida. I had psssed the physical in California but I failed th second physical in Florida and was dischared in July 1962 with the rank of Private First Class.
