About | Birthdate; 5/19/1947. Tom was able to attend his class of 1965, 50th reunion one month before his passing. Tom was a varsity football player and member of the wrestling team, having reached the state finals in wrestling. He then enlisted in the US Army in 1967 proudly serving his country for three years while volunteering for a second tour of active-combat duty in Viet Nam, earning a Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal with one Silver and two Bronze Stars, Army Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Air Medal with "V" Device and one Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Aircraft Crewman Badge, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with "60" Device, among other commendations as Private First Class and Specialist 5 rank in the 114th Aviation Company. Tom achieved his Bachelor's degree in Criminology & minor in Psychology from Trenton State College. He had a 39 year career with the Warminster Township Police with high commendations holding the positions of Patrolman, Sergeant, and Sergeant-Detective in addition to these titles he was a K-9 unit officer, a hostage negotiator with Central Bucks Special Response Team, and certified firearms instructor. Tom was also VP and President of the Police Benevolent Association for many years and was active member of the Fraternal Order of Police. |
