Never really got to know Bob very well. Like me, he was in several advanced placement classes but he focused on history and English whereas I focused on science and math. As I recall, Bob was the class valedictorian and moved on to Cornell University, his first choice. We both won Navy ROTC scholarships - he to Cornell and I to Princeton. What is very interesting is that we both were ordered to the USS New Jersey Battleship for our summer 1969 midshipman cruise although we bunked far apart. Very nice guy as far as I knew. I think he was also the quarterback for the football team. Sad to learn that he passed away so early in life, Rest In peace, Bob.

1957 2nd grade at Shelmire ES I was almost as skilled in hand writing as Bobby. Southampton Boy Scouts Troop 28, Centennial SD Accelerated program, lettered in 3 sports, student government President, studied Russian, top academic performance and studied undergrad at Cornell Univ.
Bob was an extremely varied talented and down to earth guy!
