James A Richardson, II
Class of 1981
James A Richardson, II became the first male and the first African-Amercian to become President of the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. The council serves over 14,000 girls located in 17 counties in the North Florida area. James also was elected to Chair the Florida Statewide Legislative Network for the Girl Scouts. In this capacity, James leads the 7 councils that cover the State of Florida. This is also a first for the State - first male chair and first African-American.
