About	Sylvia Irene Guilliams Stump, 86 of Roanoke, went to be with her Lord on Saturday evening, February 28, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Sylvia was a longtime faithful member of Garden City Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She retired from Sears after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lemon and Okie Guilliams and her husband of 57 years, George Edward (PaPa George) Stump. Surviving are her daughter, Carol Ann Stump Jordan of Hardy; her son, Michael Wayne "Mike" Stump and wife, Cindy of Roanoke; her grandchildren, William Bradly (Brad) Jordan, Amanda Stump McCoy and husband, Kris, Eric Michael Stump; her great grandson, Tai Holbrook; her sisters, Louise Moran of Salem, Joyce Webb of Roanoke, Angie Costello of Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Garden City Baptist Church Building Fund in Sylvia's memory. A service celebrating Sylvia's life will be held at Garden City Baptist Church, Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Jay Fields officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
