Charles Benjamin Allen, Jr., age 68 of Bluefield, WV departed from this life to be with the Lord on May 27, 2026.
Born October 13, 1957 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Chuck remained a die hard UNC fan even after moving out of the state. He was a son of the late Charles and Ann Allen. He is survived by his wife Susan Frazier Allen, daughters Meghan Hardy (Jeremy Hardy), Kristen Caudill (Dustin Caudill), and Caitlin Laxton (Bryce Laxton), and granddaughters Olivia Hardy, Celia Hardy, Alayna Hardy, Madison Caudill, Mackenzie Caudill, Ayda Laxton, and Harper Laxton.
Chuck was a graduate of William Byrd High School of Vinton, VA (1976), attended Roanoke College in Roanoke, VA and graduated from Southern Bible College in Houston, TX. He worked in education for most of his life and in his latter years was the Coordinator for Alternative Education in Smyth County, VA.
Chuck was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bluefield where he served as a deacon.
A celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 2:00PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Bluefield, WV. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 1:00PM until the service hour. A reception will be held for friends and family following the service at Westminster.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Bluefield Union Mission.
