Brenda Sue Horne, 77, widow of Robert V. Horne, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Rowena Hancock. She was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Gladys Hancock.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for many years and her membership transferred to Greene Memorial United Methodist Church when Trinity was dissolved.
She is survived by her sons, Brent Walker and Chad Walker; her aunt, Carol Howell; cousin, Melinda Wekony; friend, Melissa Jones; life-long friend, Jean Elliot; as well as her special dog, Baby.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026 in the Chapel of Light at Evergreen Burial Park with Rev. Joanna Paysour officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of service.
