Donna Kim Stegall Craft, 66, of Vinton, passed away, Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Donald Stegall, her mother, JoAnn Pleasant Stegall and a nephew, Logan Stegall.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Commander Grover Craft; two brothers, Mark Stegall (Julie) and Michael A. "Andy" Stegall; nieces and nephews, Carmen Nicole Stegall, Meagan Elizabeth Worley, Jeffrey Tyler Worley (Lauren), Michael "Drew" Stegall, II, Braedon "Brady" Stegall; several great nieces and nephews.
Donna was born in Wilmington, North Carolina on February 29, 1960. She was a graduate of the William Byrd High School and went on to graduate from Bridgewater College with a Bachelor of Music Education. While her husband served in the U.S. Navy, she volunteered as a Navy Family Ombudsman who was a vital liaison between command leadership and families. She loved to listen to the 60's and 70's music and was a huge Elvis fan. She also enjoyed painting and reading all types of books.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM in the Oakey's Vinton Chapel where the funeral will follow at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will be held Monday, April 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Mountain View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
