| About | Evan Scott Bingham ("Evan the Legend"), 28, born May 23, 1997, passed away on March 11, 2026. Evan is survived by his father, Darrell Bingham; his mother, Laurie Bingham; his brother, Alex Bingham; his stepmother, Malinda Bingham; as well as many members of the Baldwin and Bingham families, along with numerous friends and coworkers. Evan was a graduate of William Byrd High School. He was employed at Top Notch Customs, where he worked alongside his brother, Alex Bingham, as a car detailer. Evan learned a great deal from and looked up to his brother Alex, as well as his coworkers. Evan was deeply loved by his family and friends. He had a big heart and considered everyone a friend. He was the light and life wherever he went-always happy, positive, and determined to bring smiles and laughter to any room. No matter his situation, he thought of others first and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Among his best friend and family, he was affectionately nicknamed "Evan the Legend." Evan loved skateboarding and had a talent for drawing and writing songs. He spent many nights learning to play guitar, writing his own lyrics, and singing, hoping one day to have his own band. He truly lived through music. The lyrics "Laughing in the Wet Grass" often came to mind, as he once asked who sang the song and would not give up until he learned the name of the artist. His favorite band was Alice in Chains. His favorite flower was a rose. A visitation for Evan will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Thank you for being a part of Evan's life. |
