About	Mike Spillman, of Vinton, Virginia, entered into rest leaving behind the love of his family and the many people whose lives he touched on January 5, 2026 at the age of 62. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who spent his career with Norfolk & Southern Railroad. Mike was known for his love of hunting, his faith, and quirky sense of humor that was unmistakably his. Mike shared a deep bond with his father, Elbert "Mike" Spillman, who was not only his dad but his lifelong best friend. He now joins his father and mother, Barbara "Gail" Norris and a brother, Brian. He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Spillman; mother-in-law, Kitty (Mark); his children, Eric (Kristin) and Alicia (Brandon); his grandsons, Corbin and Raynor, who brought him joy; his beloved miniature schnauzers, Mandy and Mousey (Mouse). He also leaves behind his siblings, nieces, nephews, and close friends who shared life with him. The family will lovingly greet friends on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with a Celebration of Mike's Life at 3:00 pm with Pastor Greg Mills officiating.
