About Vickie St. Clair Irby passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 24, 2025. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley St. Clair Jones and her father, Roy "Hambone" St. Clair. She is survived by her son Chase Irby; sister Sabrina Hubert (Tom); sister Sherrie Snead (Cecil); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins; and longtime dear friend Lana McCulloch.

Born on September 15, 1957, the auburn-haired beauty with freckles was a smart, curious and artistically talented young lady. She led cheers at WBHS and painted glorious Larger-than-Life murals for the football team. She sadly missed her 50th high school reunion by a few days. After high school, she went on to secure employment at the Radford Arsenal. She quickly moved up the ranks to become a financial analyst. The apple of her eye was her son Chase, whom she doted on. She helped him hone his artistic talents as well. She loved dancing, reading and volleyball. Vickie had an extensive Barbie Collection she relished. In her final days she enjoyed the company of her little Yorkie, Sebastian.

A special thank you to her caregiver and friend, Diane.

She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. To honor Vickie's memory the family invites you to donate to Good Samaritan Hospice of Roanoke, Virginia at goodsam.care. No services have been scheduled at this time.
