About	Melissa Mae McDermitt, 38, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 24, 2013. In addition to her parents, Barry and Sandy Ousley, she was survived by two sisters and their spouses, Carol and Russ Buckley, Mechelle and Travis Trainor; brother, Douglas Ousley; uncle, Pete Hoover; and many nieces and nephews. We want to thank our special friends, Harry and Nancy Karnes and their family for all of their love and support. There are so many friends to thank, too many to name. Melissa was a longtime member of Brookhill Baptist Church and we would like to thank our church family for their prayers and support. The family would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Carilion Hospice for the excellent care and love. Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Oakey's Vinton Chapel with Pastor Nathan Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
