About	Richard Walter Garman, 40, of Vinton, suddenly left this world to join his heavenly father as a result of a truck accident on Friday, March 23, 2007. He was involved in trucking for many years and was an experienced driver. He never met a stranger and touched the lives of many. He will be forever loved and missed especially by his family. Surviving are his wife, Sheila Aldridge Garman; three children, Olivia, Victoria, and Jacob (Earl) Garman; two step daughters, Brittni and Kirstin Love; parents, Robert (Bob) and Marlene Garman of Vinton, two sisters and their husbands, Sharon and Darrell Woolridge of Roanoke and Lori and Mike Bethea of Charlotte N.C.; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Peggy Aldridge; two brothers and sister-in-law, Charlie and Tammy Aldridge and Travis Aldridge; special nieces and nephews including Dustin Woolridge, Alexa Bethea, Hallie, Mikey, and Maddie. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 12 Noon Monday, March 26, 2007 with the Rev. Andy Rice. Burial will be in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens in Botetourt County. To create a scrapbook for Richard's infant son, the family would like to collect pictures and written memories from his friends at the viewing. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 982-2221.
