About | In Loving Memory of Timberly Ann Martin Affectionately known as Timmy, Madra, Timberly Ann, Grannie, and Momma T. With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of Timberly Ann (St. Clair) Martin, 65, of Roanoke, Virginia—a radiant soul who brought joy, laughter, and light to everyone she met. Timberly passed away surrounded by family, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable memories. Born with a head full of blonde curls and a heart even bigger, Timberly lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She grew up exploring the peaceful shores of Claytor Lake, Greenbrier River, and Smith Mountain Lake, creating cherished memories that reflected her love for nature and life’s simple joys. From a young age, she shared a special bond with the man who would later become her husband, Steve—a lifelong love story rooted in friendship and blossoming into an unshakeable partnership. She was a proud and loving mother to her angels, Mary Ann and Timberly, whom she raised with unwavering devotion. She instilled in them fierce independence, courage, and kindness. She was their rock, their greatest encourager, and their safe haven—the ultimate role model. She embraced her sons-in-law, Kyle and K.C., not merely as extended family but as her own sons. Her love for them was unwavering, and she was deeply proud of the men they had become—especially the devoted fathers they were. Their commitment to putting family first reminded her of the life she once shared with her own father. It brought her deep peace knowing they were caring for her angels and precious grandchildren with such love and strength. Her grandchildren—Imani, Austin, K.J., Mimi, Julian, Amelia, and soon-to-arrive baby Alexander—were the lights of her life. Her joy in being their Grannie was boundless, and she eagerly anticipated meeting the newest addition to her beloved family. Timberly had a deep passion for cars—especially Mustangs—and a mechanical skill that often amazed those around her. Whether she was behind the wheel, prepping for a car show, or cruising with fellow car enthusiasts, she was truly in her element. Her love for cars led her and Steve to form lasting friendships and create unforgettable memories, particularly with Kevin and Rhonda, and Laury and Vicki, who became like family. She found just as much joy in simpler moments too—like driving her father-in-law’s tractor—always accompanied by laughter, her quick wit, and unmistakable sense of humor. After losing her mother to cancer at the age of 18, Timberly became a devoted supporter of breast cancer awareness—carrying her mother’s memory with strength and grace. She also found deep meaning in exploring her roots through family history and genealogy, honoring the legacy of her parents, whom she loved dearly. Known for the bright smile that could light up any room, Timberly never met a stranger. She offered acceptance, support, and honesty to all—always available, no matter the hour, for those who needed her. Her loyalty was unwavering, her bravery inspiring, and her presence comforting. She found peace among her flowers and joy in the companionship of animals—especially her beloved Gracie. She also loved cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals alongside Steve.. A spiritual woman of deep faith, Timberly lived her life guided by love, grace, and generosity. To know her was to be loved wholly and unconditionally. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ann and Harry St. Clair, and by her in-laws, Vivian and Omar Martin, who were like second parents to her. Her legacy of compassion, strength, and laughter lives on in every life she touched. She will be remembered always, and missed beyond measure. One sweet day. A visitation will be held at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with a memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Timberly’s name to a local SPCA or breast cancer awareness organization. |
