About	Robert (Bobby) Lewis Beard, Jr., 81, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025. Bobby was the son of the late Robert Lewis, Sr., and Mary Ida Beard. He was also predeceased by his sisters Rose Mary Cochran and Evelyn Jeannette Beard. Bobby served in the Marine Corps during the early 1960s. Afterwards, he was employed by the General Electric Company in Salem, VA, for many years. After leaving GE, Bobby opened Bob Beard Antiques in downtown Roanoke. He is survived by his nephew Gary Lynn Cochran (Barbara); niece Vickie Campbell (Tod); and cousin Judy Kniskern. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton, VA. Pastor Rodney Spears will officiate.
