Mrs. Arvia Bryant Meeks, age 77, of Midlothian, Va. and formerly of Roanoke, died Friday in a Richmond hospital.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Col. Ret. Lawrence E. Meeks, Midlothian; son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence E., II and Jacqueline N. Meeks, Midlothian; and a granddaughter, Jennifer M. Meeks, Midlothian.
Funeral services will be from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with Dr. Harry Y. Gamble officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
