About	Ruth Wirtley Jordan Agner Temple, 92, a resident of Our Lady of the Valley and formerly of Vinton and McLean, Va., went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2007. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon. At noon, we will leave from the funeral home and travel to Mountain View Cemetery for a celebration of her life at 12:30 p.m. The Rev. Bill Booth and Chris Monroe will officiate. Ruth loved flowers and those will be welcome but, for anyone who wants to do so, the family encourages donations in her memory to the Vinton Rescue Squad or Vinton Baptist Church.
