Everett Lynn Willis, 72, of Carleton, Mich., and formerly of Roanoke, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Lynn was a 1959 graduate of William Byrd High School. He served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1966, and with the Michigan National Guard from 1966 to 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne; sons, Everett Jr., Richard and Steven; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and brothers, Clyde Willis and Robert Willis.
A service was held in Carleton, Mich., Friday, March 23, 2012.
